#FilmNews: Michael Keaton and Zach Galifianakis star in new Birdman clip: watch now A new clip has dropped online from Birdman, in which Michael Keaton and Zach Galifianakis squabble over a potential star in their forthcoming play. Keaton plays a washed-up actor who used to be known for his iconic role as feathered superhero, Birdman. However, having decided to hang up the cape, offers of work dried up quite some time ago… However, Keaton plans to have one last throw of the showbiz dice by turning his experiences into a Broadway production, which proves to be slightly more challenging than he had first imagined. Take a look at the new clip… Keaton and Galifianakis make for an excellent double-act here, the scene positively crackling with comic energy. If they can keep this breakneck pace up throughout the entire movie, we should be in for a real treat. Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and co-starring Naomi Watts, Edward Norton and Andrea Riseborough, Birdman will open in the UK on 2 January 2015.
