**Final Update** As of 04 Oct 13 / 14L, Andersen AFB is in TCCOR 4. **The Tropical Depression is forecasted to remain well to the north of Andersen, keeping most of the rain and wind at bay, andshould only affect the area for a short duration. For the next 72 hrs, you should expect scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms, with max expected winds of 25 knots with strong showers 1. At 04/03L Tropical Depression 23W was located at 16.1° North and 146.5° East, approximately 177 nautical miles North Northeast of Andersen AFB. Current movement is to the West at 9 knots. 2. Tropical Depression 23W had winds gusting to 40 knots near its center and was moving to the West at 9 knots. The closest point of approach (CPA) is forecast to be 160 nautical miles at 04/16L. If Tropical Depression 23W continues to move as forecast, damaging winds of 50 knots or greater (sustained) are not anticipated to occur. The strongest winds on Guam are expected to be sustained at N/A knots with N/A knot gusts at N/A. 3. Conditions expected at Andersen AFB over the next 24 hours: Scattered rainshowers with isolated thunderstorms, winds 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots, crosswinds (including gusts) 20 knots. 48 hours: Isolated rainshowers with isolated thunderstorms, winds 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots, crosswinds 18 knots. 72 hours: Isolated rainshowers with isolated thunderstorms, winds 10 knots with gusts up to 15 knots, crosswinds 10 knots. 1-2 inches of rain are expected over the next 24-72 hours. 4.
