Final day in UK: went up to the viewing deck of The Shard, the tallest building in Europe. Views were spectacular. Then went to the Bunch of Grapes pub for a delightful lunch and ale. Then walked through the Borough Market Southwark. After a coffee boarded the ferry and took a trip upstream to the Albert Bridge at Chelsea. By then it was dinner time so stopped off at another pub called The Phene for a early dinner. Then cabbed it back to the hotel to pack for my departure tomorrow. Chez and John also head off for Ireland for 10 days, and Dad is being collected by Jeff for a further two weeks. Another very full day.
