Finally finding some time to sit down and put this into words. As some of you know we were in the planning stages of making a huge move with Hudson for better care before the bottle episode happened. Over the summer our house sold in Saskatoon. We made that big move to another city for better quality care for Hudson. It has been a very hard move but in the end we are so happy to be where we are now. We want to thank everyone of you who has been there for us and for Hudson through all of this. We went on a brief mini holiday at the end of August we were only gone 48 hours lol. Reconnecting with our children especially Hudson was an amazing time for us as a family. On Sept. 2,2014 Hudson ended up in the Stollery ER with what we thought at first was just a cold. He actually had pneumonia and a collapsed upper lobe in his right lung. He looked very grey and not well at all and honestly we didnt know if we were going to bring him home at first. It was a very dark few days for me as his mom because I learnt that he may not make it. Hudson has always been my fighter and he fought through this like a trooper. He spent 2 weeks in hospital with being poked with needles every 2-3 days. He cried I cried cause I couldnt fix him. I held him and told him how much we all loved him. I have to say the only thing that got him through all of this was that he gets to go on his wish trip this month to Thomasland. I truly believe that is why he pulled through this. We were always told that the Stollery is the best in the country to be at well they proved it to us. When I wasnt able to be with him they actually had an aide worker with him. Yes it was still very stressful but not at all like it was a yr ago in RUH. Sorry for the long post but I finally found some time to write it all down. Hugs and love to you all and thank you for your continued support and love for Hudson xoxoxo
