Finally got around to allowing the whole hour show play and this entire conversation is enlightening - especially the part around 44:00 when Ebro talks about we make choices upon relatability, how media plays upon us, researches us and give us what we want. While Ive never really listened to Macklemore, I think he serves as an example of how white people could approach the race conversation and even more of how to realize when to check your privilege . . . even if its too late and youve already flashed your card.
