Finally got around to seeing Disneys The Lone Ranger and I really dont see a lot of the hate. Now, dont get me wrong, Im not praising it, if anything its an OKAY movie, at best. Its issues are mostly just with pointless scenes, underdeveloped characters and subplots, the unfocused tone, and sort of a mess of a climax. Some of the action drags and becomes boring... The humor is okay, but typical Bruckheimer. Its a forgettable movie, but its not HORRIBLE like people say. But, its nothing spectacular... Probably would give it 5/10. I can say, though, the impossible Jerry Bruckheimer action scene situations are kinda becoming stale and noticeable. I doubt Tonto would have even survived the beginning of the movie, much less the other ridiculous feats he manages to, somehow, not get even a scratch from. Mind you, Bruckheimer actually didnt direct this one. But, it did come out of his production company. And its obvious... So, Id say if you dont like the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, definitely skip this one...
