Finally home and can post about what may be the most amazing day in my precious Landaces life. It started at 5:30am teasing her hair and putting on her makeup and cheer uniform. Then to warmup w/her Ruby Red team (her old team shes filling in for) for 2 hours, then on the stage for a performance that amazed the room! Off to her Peach team, swap the red hair bow for the peach, fix the hair again, warmup w/Peach for 2 hours. Then while she waited to take the stage for her 2nd performance I went to the awards for Ruby Red, they got 1st place. I took off running through the warmup room to the back of the stage, tell her they won, give her a kiss and she goes on stage. They have another performance that amazed us all. She watched the video recap w/her team then she and another friend that is also on both teams took off running to the award room jumped on stage w/RR to take their winning pictures. Two hours later shes at Peach Awards and they also win 1st! Hers teams are both All Star Challenge National Champions and she got 2 Championship jackets. Then we found out at 9:30pm that RR got a bid to The Summit (the Super Bowl of competitive cheer)! She is the happiest little girl in the world, and Im a happy mom! What an awesome feeling to see your childs dreams and goals come true! Best day ever!
