Finally made it home after a long eventful 8 hour track meet. It was an awesome 1st season for my son. Im glad he decided to compete on the track team. He was a bit reluctant about doing it since hes always played basketball. I encouraged him and gave my 2 cent about how it would benefit him when basketball starts again. I ultimately left it up to him and told him to pray about it and let me know what he decided...And here we are...finals brought home the gold in 4x400, silver in 4x100, and bronze In 100m. Although he didnt get a medal in 200m, he placed 4th and the race which was so close the time difference between his time and 1st place was only a fraction of a second...All under 25 seconds!! Way to go Shay Im proud of you!!
