Finally we have just about recovered from our Easter celebrations. I almost feel like becoming vegetarian after all the meat we have eaten after 6 weeks of fasting (!) but the day lived up to all other years. The spit (now motorised) worked like a dream, the sun managed a showing if not spectacular, warm and dry. Lots of excitement, hospitality, family reunions and spontaneous joining of tables of food and drink. Red eggs were cracked, glasses of local wine chinked... more than once ... and statements of Christ is risen... with the response..Truly risen... made, as tradition dictates. A rapid transition to the next season was required as soon as the washing up was done. The first flights brought holiday makers and hotel doors opened and we felt like we had done some kind of time travel. However all now ticking over in holiday mode despite a bout of chilly rain it is interspersed with summer sun. A brief lunch break in our board room was required after some hard work spring cleaning the office!
