Finals day at Rotax Protour Todd Road Melbourne - Bayley - TopicsExpress

Finals day at Rotax Protour Todd Road Melbourne - Bayley Douglas had a great drive in his Mini Max to bring it home in 2nd place, being his 1st race meeting in this New Class hell be eager to get to Dubbo in 8 weeks to hopefully back up this great performance in Round 2. Brendan Nelson (Rotax Light) struggled all weekend with adapting to the Rotax light division but kept moving forward to finish the final in 11th Regan Payne (Rotax Heavy) crossed the line 1st in his final only to be dqd with a technical infringe. We believe there was no performance gain but was still dqd Brad Dawson (DD2 Masters) commented that the kart was feeling great and had got it all sorted in the final until he had to retire with an engine problem. Josh Crossingham in his DD2 found some great speed in the final Bringing it home in 9th position Kade Vink (Jmax Trophy) finished 8th in his New Intrepid after a terrible incident yesterday which destroyed his kart. I am very pleased to say that Kade walked away without a scratch on him. Luke Vanna (Jmax) With an over subscribed field we were very impressed with his efforts but a DNF in heat 3 side lined him for the final missing the cutoff by one point
