Uma Ling will provide business process outsourcing (BPO) services in India and abroad. The new venture aims to alleviate unemployment in the Tibetan community by creation of employment opportunities for Tibetan youths. The project is facilitated by Tibetan Administration and Welfare Society (TAWS). Please note below for number of vacancies, eligibility criteria and salary offers. Position-I: Web Mining Process (24 vacancies) Web content mining is the mining, extraction and integration of useful data, information and knowledge from Web page content. Eligibility: Age Criteria – Min 18 yrs to 45 years of age Qualification – Graduate/ Non Graduate Good English comprehension skills and vocabulary. Internet savvy Working knowledge of Excel and good typing skill with 40 wpm will be an advantage. Position-II: Medical Transcriptionists (10 vacancies) Medical Transcription is an allied health profession, which deals in the process of transcription, or converting voice-recorded reports as dictated by, the physicians or by the secretary to a doctor into the text form. Eligibility: Qualification – Undergraduate / Graduate or (PG-Any specialization). Experience- medical transcription experience of more than one year. Excellent listening skills. Good typing skills (at least 50 to 60 wpm). Have knowledge of medical terminology (Anatomy and Physiology). Basic knowledge of computer applications. Good communication skills (oral and written). Good sense of reading skills. Maintain patient confidentiality. Be good team player.
