Financial Analyst Location: Saudi Arabia Job Description: The company is offering a job opportunity for an experienced financial analyst with strong financial modeling and project finance related experiences. The position will have to support the Project Finance Director with respect to the Company and its subsidiaries in developing financial models, evaluating strategies including the Corporate/ Project financing, M&A transactions, and divestment decisions. The position will be required to support the review and execution of commercial and legal documentation. Reporting to the Project Finance Director, this position: DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS •Evaluate the investments/ acquisition/projects opportunity in terms of financial returns and business risks. •Build best practice financial models for Equity valuation or fund raising in limited recourse basis for infrastructure & other projects. •Support the evaluation and development of financing strategies. •Works closely with bankers, 3rd party consultants and other related parties to ensure proper due diligence of the financial model with respect to accounting, tax and contractual in order to ensure accuracy. •Financial risks analysis (credit, market, counterparty, currency) •Apply market benchmarking : pricing, liquidity, and risk appetite from various financial markets •Apply the best practices in valuation methodologies and financial modeling including look-back analysis •Supporting the Project Finance Director in Financial structuring, documentation negotiation and execution •Apply market benchmarking : pricing, liquidity, and risk appetite from various financial markets Desired Profile: Required: •The candidate should have a degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum of 5-8 years post-qualifications experience preferably in banking (Project/corporate Finance) and/or financial consultation. •He should be familiar with banking systems and credit requirements. •Sound project finance, syndication, commercial/legal documentation experience •Strong financial modeling skills (best practice) •Sound knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, merger & acquisitions, budgeting and accounting including IFRS. •Work requires excellent and professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings. •Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and have multiple business trips around KSA, Middle East, and globally. •Saudi National •Holding Masters Degree (such as MBA) or professional certificates (i.e. CA, CFA, CPA) would be an added advantage •Fluency in English/Arabic is required •Strong analytical thinking with advanced knowledge of Business Objects & Microsoft office platform. •Highly proactive in keeping abreast with the latest trends in the banking & financial industry.
