Finished up were I started the year Big Pike! Been busy as hell the last 2 weeks so I was itching to wet a line. The Kyles Pike Pattern had a quick window open up so I teamed up with Kyle Paparelli for a quick morning strike today at sun up. To our dismay the entire lake was covered with a half inch of sturdy ice. Well we came to fish so Kyle hopped in a yak and I hopped into a canoe and we spent over an hour smashing ourselves a custom pond to fish with special fighting lanes. Fast forward and hour and were tight to our first double digit gator. Great high calorie cold water fight and we got her. Snapped a few pics and and as we were releasing her another Delkim Alarm starts screaming with number 2 on the morning. Wrapped it all up by 10am and headed home to get more work done. Solid Quick Pike Strike on an exclusive and elusive Rhode Island Pike Fishery! Have I mentioned how much I love the new Stormr Fusion Jacket!!!!
