Finishing dress details for mailing tomorrow. Not my best work but this is the practice dress. So disgusted with hancock fabric that as much as I wanted to patronize it instead of always going to hobby lobby, I will never enter their store again. I did not know that h.l. sold washable satin. And I really wanted to be a loyal customer to hancock. I bought the only blue they had. It was pieces on a bolt. No problem. I get home and I am short a yard. They only had pieces left with stains and footprints. I make do. Then I find a small red stain and a rust colored stain as I am constructing. I think they will be hidden in seams. Stupid me. I should have returned the whole mess. H. L. was half the price and had the perfect blue with no footprints or stains. So the 2nd dress will be perfect-i hope. And hancock has lost a life long customer!!
