Dear Colleagues, We are about to start a new EC-FP7 supported network to train PhD students across the disciplines: from molecular microbial ecology over bioenvironmental engineering. This training network, called MERMAID (Microbial Resource Management and Engineering to Close the Urban Water Cycle), is coordinated by DTU (the Technical University of Denmark), and involves partners in Belgium (Gent University), UK (Newcastle University), Portugal (New University of Lisbon), and Switzerland (EAWAG/ETH) as well as private partners.
