Fire activity south-west Queensland/New South Wales border #QFES is warning south-west Queensland residents near the #NSW border to be aware of fires in the area. Changing winds are pushing fires towards the Queensland border. QFES crews are assisting their New South Wales counterparts with a fire at #Cullendore and there are several more fires burning near the border which may impact Queensland border towns. QFES crews are currently on-scene at fires at #Kowguran, near #Miles, and at #Yulebah, near #Roma. Residents are asked to remain vigilant and keep an eye out for embers or spot fires on their property. These fires are not currently threatening any property in Queensland, but may cause some smoke over coming days. If you feel your home is at threat, call Triple Zero (000).
