Firefighters are at a grain silo outside of Genoa, trying to dig out a farmer who apparently became trapped inside. Fire personnel from several departments were called in to help rescue the 73-year-old farmer; multiple media sources say his family noticed his empty truck late this morning, and couldn’t find any trace of him. He was last seen working inside the grain bin, and they quickly called for help. About 10-thousand to 12-thousand bushels of corn are inside, and rescuers are clearing that out as they try to get to the victim.
