First Apostles� General Meeting In Lusaka Twenty Five Apostles from Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe assembled in Lusaka for the first ever general meeting on Saturday, 9 August 2013. Apart from Apostle Foster C. Lungu of Mzuzu, Malawi, the Apostles convened at Lima Garden Guest House to meet with the District Apostle Charles Ndandula on spiritual and operational matters of the church affecting the District Apostle Area. Apostle Lungu had a family bereavement just before he could start off for the trip to Lusaka. The District Apostle commenced the meeting with a spiritual greeting with a text word from Matthews 8:26: �But he said to them, �Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?�� After the meeting in the afternoon the Apostles attended a musical fundraising concert held at the New Government complex in Lusaka and later had a �Meet the Apostles Dinner� at the same complex. On Sunday, Burma Congregation of Lusaka East area was a hive of activity as the District Apostle conducted the divine service with all the 25 Apostles and Bishop Siachalwa Muchimba in attendance. The service was attended by 1,534 members and 44 visitors and the District Apostle used a text word from Psalms 40: 7 - 9: �Then I said �Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, and your Law is within my heart. I have proclaimed the great news of the righteousness in the great assembly indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O Lord, You, Yourself, know.�� After service, the Apostles had fellowship lunch with the members at Nakatindi hall.
