First day on the job as a rock-n-roll scientist ...... its so wild how quickly things can change. If you told me a couple of years ago that today Id be engaged to my soulmate with two awesome kiddos, playing upright bass in a band with awesome and talented people, clean and sober from everything but an occasional drink and working for a solar energy company..... I would have did my shot of whiskey, took a long drag of my unfiltered cigarette and laughed smoke right in your face....right before getting back to bartending my graveyard shift.... Man, I sure enjoy the sunshine these days..and life is wonderful.
