First ice related accident of the season....Old Betsys owner has just watched a VW Polo spin and crash through the safety barrier above the lake across from the house.....fortunatey didnt slip down the slope into the water. Deceptively icy out there today.....Old Betsy is staying put, bunkered down, in my nice warm garage.....Ill leave the roads to the smug self satisfied 4X4 school run brigade who drive a quarter mile right up to the school gates with Tarquin and Jocasta and park, badly, on the double yellow lines....let them knock up a few dings and dents and explain them to hubby. Hey ho......
