First of all.. Thanks to all who voted and viewed our video for the Funk Volumes Dont Fu[$]k Up Our Beats Rap Contest! Ill give some statistics. We submitted our entry on the day before voting ended. We got 1200+ votes & over 10k views from our awesome fans before voting closed, not even 24 hours later. Which from what I observed was nearly more than some of the top voted videos submitted weeks before. Which is crazy. The page posted our video not even hours after it came out, and it was being shared like crazy. Now it sits as the second most viewed contest entry, aside from one of the best, put out 2 weeks ago. When you search DFUOB6 on YouTube, our video is the first one to pop up. From the rules I read we shouldnt have been disqualified for any reason, played it by the book as far as that goes. I figured itd at least get top 25, even from an onlookers perspective, its easy to see that everything was done over-the-top. Awesome production value, great mix, overall well put together song - and that a lot of people were feelin it. Not taking anything away from those who placed, there were some amazing entries in there, and Shizzy should undoubtedly win. But I felt ours competed with that level, if not surpassed in some aspects. Possibly they felt we have enough exposure already? Some of our videos combined have millions of views, and our FB page almost surpassing the whole contest page in respect to likes & interaction. Whatever it was, were gonna keep Killin Shit, and it wont slow us down. We needed to put a video out like that anyways, and were all happy about the traction its gained. Thanks again to everyone for the support, and Ill ask to not flame them or get angry sending them profane things or whatnot..
