First of all when LeBron James was with the Cavs he did not have - TopicsExpress

First of all when LeBron James was with the Cavs he did not have the right team although in one season he did bring the Cavs to the finals but got swept by the Spurs due to lack of experience during that time. As we all know that LeBron isn’t a “Mr. Do it all type player” he can’t win it alone so before the 2010-2011 season took his talents to Miami to team up with Wade and Bosh in order to pursue that first ring. Rings alone do not define how great a player is. If that is the case Norris Cole is already ahead of Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose and we all know that LeBron is not the GOAT yet. We will talk about that when he retires. Players greatness can be measured in different perspectives. Stats, dominance in the league, signature moves, records that he broke, individual accolades and his impact in the game during his time. In addition, what we do not like people who are hating players because it poses a big threat to their favorite players. For example Kobe, his fans tend to hate LeBron and attack him and his fans with intimidation. Without realizing that whatever they are calling to these fans LeBron’s bandwagon, they are also like them. Saying that Kobe is the GOAT better than MJ, which stats-wise and skill-wise is invalid. Kobe was copying Michael Jordan since day 1 of his NBA career. Even Michael Jordan said that he is not sure if he can beat Kobe because Kobe is copying all his moves. As Kobe referred it as “The cycle” Now back to LeBron, why did he choose to leave the Cavs let me tell you why because of the organization. LeBron did play there for seven seasons although they bought in Shaq that did not work out as they planned so it was time for LeBron to make a choice and join Pat Riley and the Miami Heat. (Props to Pat Riley he knows what he doing). Cavaliers is not that great of an organization no hate on the Cavs fans as evidenced by good players not trying to settle on this team first James next Bynum, Deng, and probably Irving will leave next summer if nothing is done. Just a reminder in 2007, The Lakers had a trade in place that would have sent Kobe Bryant to the Detroit Pistons in 2007, but Kobe turned it down at the last minute In that moment. In Buss house in the hills, it washed over Bryant how much staying a Laker for life meant to him, how no matter how dire the state of the franchise seemed, that Buss had a history of restoring the Lakers to championship contention. That is exactly what happened. The Lakers went on to win two of the next three titles.
