First off I want to thank everyone who recently liked my page as well as all of you who have stuck with me this long. You all are truly a God sent blessing because without you- I cannot keep doing something I am passionate about. Ok... 1: If you want to see the finished product without having to scroll down the page to find it... Click on Photos. Click on Albums. Then you will find all of the individual Albums I created. Click on the one you want to see. As I am working on something I post pictures as I go then add the finIshed product to the album it belongs in. Most people love that because they can watch their paintings come to life, however its annoying to others. So there is the way to skip past that. I apologize for any inconvenience that causes anyone. 2: No, I do not own a shop, however it is a dream of mine one day. I am a stay at home Mom of 4 children. One daughter who is in high school, another daughter who is in Jr. High and does K12 online at home, my baby girl who I homeschool in Pre-K and my energetic toddler son. I started painting because its something I love to do, and its done in the little free time I have between them and normal every day life. While I paint- I pray and talk to the Lord. He gave me this talent as a gift and my gift back to Him is to respect and honor Him through it. Im saying this because I say alot that I can paint anything you want on something... and I will as long as it in no way disrespects the Lord. Same as with how I lost an order of 30 bucks because I refused to write X- then Mas on some ornaments instead of Christmas. If you want to order something please send me a message on my page. It is too hard for me to keep up in the comments on who said what first. Maybe not the most professional way to things, but as I get an order I write it down in my notebook and it has successfully worked so far. I say very little when the order is taken but once I get to your name... I will contact you back for specific detail questions and we go from there. I go down my list when doing the orders and get them done accordingly. 3: Portraits: I have always had a hard time painting people and avoided it for a long time, however I see the Lord has blessed my hands in painting them and I have gotten many requests for them. Here are some answers to many questions I have been asked: Yes, you can send me more than one photo (on my page). Lets say Grandma and Grandpa live out of state and have 5 grand-children who live all over the country. Mom and Dad want a family portrait done but its just not possible. You can send me a photo of each individual person and I will put them all together to create one big happy family portrait :) If you like Nanas smile in this photo, her dress in that photo, but her hair in another photo- send them all to me and I can put them together. This goes with anything else that you might want to add in your paintings such as details, memories or backgrounds. 4: Yes, I do ship. Yes I am a real person (I still get asked that). I live in Lake Charles Louisiana and my name on Facebook is Amanda Demarest Gervais... nice to meet you :). If you live locally I will meet you personally here in Lake Charles when your order is done. If you live further away or out of state- I ship your order. Cost to ship: If it is a painting- its 10.00. If its ornaments- its 5.00. (Ornaments are shatterproof by the way). This covers shipment of your whole order. I have come across a few times it cost a little more than that- but I will cover the difference when necessary- so dont worry about that. 5: Yes, I finally have a PayPal. A question I have been asked a couple times- I started on an order and then posted an ornament that they did not order. No, I did not forget to finish the first order. Here is what happened. Person 1 wants 5 ornaments and will pay me next week. Person 2 and 3 made orders and will pay when order is complete. Person 4 orders 5 ornaments and paid via PayPal. Because Person 4 already paid for their order- it takes priority over any other orders. I will stop where I am at, complete their order and meet up/ship out promptly. It is just the right thing to do. Once that is done- I resume where I was with the orders. I apologize if this has caused any confusion- I am just trying to do things right and fair. 6. Cost: If you have questions about cost please dont hesitate to message me. I wont discuss this out in the open because its your own personal business and it needs to stay that way. If my prices are too high or you cant afford something- please message me. I am not out to make a fortune- I am out to keep doing what I love. I do contests from time to time and the winner receives a free painting of choice. I have done many paintings that I have donated to a good cause and at times- I have randomly picked a person and something they ordered is free. Surprise surprise! Yes I am just random that way lol. So no- I do not mind working with people, you just have to let me know. Ok I think that covers just about everything in one lump sum lol.
