First off NO PROBLEMS/weather issues tonight! First blush of the 12z models, including KATCs RPM model (link enclosed) looks like a shorter duration and mostly ice (sleet & freezing rain) event cpmpared to last nights models for most of Acadiana...but it will get icy with hazardous travel conditions developing midday Tuesday nonetheless...those icy conditions will last through Wednesday and may last thru Thursday morning as highs may not reach significantly above freezing Wednesday due to lingering clouds (like last system). Best chance of accumulating snow is still hiway 190 corridor in northern Acadiana Parishes with sleet and freezing rain likely for most of us...greatest risk of mostly freezing rain and iciest glaze (and power outages) will be coastal parishes. Still could see a snow flurry at the finish...bottom line...think this weather system will make it look more likely a winter wonderland than Fridays system for sure.
