First off, let me state that I am not looking to break the law, so I dont want illegal ideas....BUT.... is there any legal way to shield a 1 to 1 trade of vehicles from having to pay property taxes on it? Im in TX because I know that matters. While I dont think I can get what I want for my car, I would probably be very happy with an even swap trade for another select vehicle. But 3-4k in property taxes up front kinda tarnishes the deal. Any thoughts?
