First set of selfies without my shirt on - a record of sorts. Dont normally do this, but again there is always a first time (which doesnt necessarily mean youll get to see more of these). So stop getting all dreamy eyed :) These pictures tell a story that cant be seen. Behind those strong arms, the happy face and the almost flat stomach is a strong urge to thrive, a burning desire to excel and a passion to inspire every life that comes my way. Nine months ago, I almost died because I didnt have any desire, passion or urge to thrive. I barely survived. That was in spite of making six figure income from a successful accounting business. The business owned me and I was its slave. With no time for myself or my family. I felt lonely, claustrophobic and burnt out. And then in August, one day I never woke up from sleep until the paramedic pounded on my chest. Since then I have taken massive action to turn my life around. In October I started training with Neil Hywel Jones, an excellent personal trainer. I wanted to get back into the best shape of my life. With his help, advice, support and tailor-made training schedule I am able to achieve my targets. My strength and energy levels have improved significantly. I have lost two inches of flab around my waist and my arms are strong now. My posture has improved and I feel good. Never felt better. At 45, I am in the best shape of my life and I believe it is only going to get better. I have lost 20 lbs of fat, gained 10 lbs of muscle, and now am actively training to hit the Miami beach in September (Black event) without my shirt on to proudly show off my six pack abs. This is a big deal for me, being an introvert coming from a conservative Indian background, with an abused childhood, struggling immigrant, overworked employee and a burnt out businessman. I am squeezing out every lemon thats thrown at me and drinking the lemonade. Life never tasted this good :) And this did not happen because I wanted to get better. I have taken massive action. Because I matter. My life matters. My future matters. It was my choice and I am choosing wisely how to live this second lease of digital life. What would you like to do with your digital life?
