Five months ago, puppies Luna and Noche were extremely sick and dying in a shelter in Texas. But SDR volunteer Susan just simply couldnt let that happen — so she and her husband drove 1400 miles round trip from Colorado to Texas to rescue these two sweet puppies and nurse them back to health. And this week, Luna was ADOPTED! Its pretty clear from these pictures and her new moms update that shes fitting in her new home and getting along with her new brother Onyx just splendidly. Too darn cute!!! A gigantic thank you to Susan for saving this sweet girls life – and her sister, Noche, who appears to be a foster failure with Susan and her pack. You saved these girls lives. Heres an update from Lunas new mama: She is doing absolutely great! She is such a love bug, and has been coming up to us for kisses and belly rubs all day. She has taken really well to the house and Onyx- they are so cute together! We went on a long walk today after we left the pond, and weve been hanging out at the house since. Shes been so good we might even try out sleeping on the bed tonight instead of waiting a bit..! I cant thank you enough again for everything you did for her to bring her to this point. We are so happy to have her as part of the family and love her already! Heres some pictures of our day, and I will send you updates as time goes on too! Have a great night, and thank you again.
