In the forties and fifties they were often occupied by people waiting for better housing. The first building is a restaurant That disappeared before my time. I think it was run by the Wattiers. I imagine that they catered to rail road trade. Strait North across the street is the Farmers Elevator now owned by Bill Hearnen
