Flyers should definitely go after Tim Thomas. Best case scenario, a Vezina winner on a cheaper shorter deal. Hopefully young core has developed enough and pieces can be added. Team becomes a Stanley cup contender and you have a proven experienced goalie. Worse case scenario, give em a two year deal see what he has left. Young core still needs those years to progress and get better, team can move on and we are right back were we where two years ago. Smith, Bob(2year deal), Schneider all locked up now. What else is out there? Halak. I say take a chance and go for it.
