Flying from Accra to Addis Ababa, I saw such a huge number of young Ghanaian ladies on the flight and I almost thought it was a female football team but they didnt look it. When I got to Addis Ababa, I realised they were continuing on to Kuwait to work as house helps. As I moved from the airport to my hotel, I had a 1001 thoughts running through my mind as to why they had to move out. The final answer was that if even professionals are moving out to the West and taking on new nationalities, what else will these girls do when they feel theres no hope for them here. As I later flew to Lusaka, Zambia, there was such a huge group of Chinese on the flight. Guess what they are going for: the rich mineral resources. An Interesting place we call home.
