Focus on...Swimming in Fear 06 September 2013 This week we are focusing on our third band to perform on the night…Swimming in Fear. Swimming in Fear play an eclectic mix of indie and pop from 80s tunes to the latest chart toppers. For this year’s Weightstock they have promised a set of anthems and heavy hits from the biggest names in music. From the gripping vocal talent of Matt Smith this year supported by new band member Jenna Martineau to the keyboard excellence of Tom Collins and the virtuoso brilliance of Steve Peacock, all underpinned by a sledgehammer and uncompromising rhythm section comprising Clive Bleasdale , Guitar Nick and Roy Martin – the 02 will erupt when SIF hit the stage. Gigging regularly over the last 12 months since the first Weightstock, the band are sounding tighter than ever and are ready to deliver their biggest performance to date.
