Folks -- if you care about the free-flowing White River, please make time to attend the last so-called visioning session put on by the Mounds Lake Coalition, tomorrow (Thursday) at the Yorktown Town Court (Office?) from 1-5p. I attended the session in Daleville today. You can talk to several of the folks involved in pushing this boondoggle, see their glitzy propaganda, pose tough questions, learn there standardized responses, and understand how you need to educate yourself to better address these partial truths/untruths. Heart of the River (heartoftheriver.wordpress/) had a table and display in Daleville today. I hope Yorktown allows them tomorrow. They have yard signs and bumper stickers that are great (Our White River, Dont Dam It!) If your schedule allows, please make the time. These folks have money and vested interests behind them, and are portraying a done deal. We need to educate our neighbors, friends, communities about this issue, or it will just move along unabated.
