Folks, I have an important message about cell phone stuff. Ok...Ive had the same cell phone account for 18 years. Started with US West Cellular then they turned into Airtouch which was later absorbed by Verizon. Ive had every phone and first hand experienced all the changes, etc. So a few weeks ago I upgraded my phone to the galaxy 5 since I liked my galazy 3 but was having Bluetooth problems with it which is weird since Ive used a Bluetooth for nearly ten years - lots of hands-free talking while driving as a contractor - and only the so called smartphones have proved problematic with blue tooth devices. Anyway...the phone stops working so I go to the Verizon store in Redmond to swap it out. Ive been in there a few times to take care of things over the last couple years since I have five lines on my account. I think its fine that they apparently are only hiring work release felons in that store - everybody deserves a second chance - but yesterday...thats it. Last time I go there. They are worse than used car salespeople...They wont do what you want - give me my new phone and let me get out of there - and they are always trying to sell you something else. They dont listen to you...I was using a cell phone when they were in diapers and when I tell them what is up with the phone and what it takes to resolve my issue do they listen? Nope. Not even in one ear and out the other...it doesnt even get past the first ear. So I spend an hour in there and finally leave, go home, take the SIM card out of the broken phone and put it in a back-up phone and resolve to do all my further transactions with Verizon through their call center. Bottom line...Verizon is really good at one thing and one thing only...billing. Customer service...guaranteeing their products...they suck. But heres the rub...AT&T and T-Mobile...they suck more. Its time we people rise up against this monopolized cell phone scenario and, and. and...hold on...Ive got a call...
