Folks, I vote a BIG YES on Oregon’s Measure 88 (driver card) ballot measure, The Safe Roads Act ! ! ! My main issue is vehicle insurance, I was hit in 1977, 37 years ago, by an uninsured motorist. Seven related orthopedic surgeries, loss of family, profession, hobbies and self-esteem, I am still disabled, my once 105#, almost perfect young body looks like a patchwork quilt. RE INSURANCE - I am up-to some $2 million in medical and surgical expenses, but the dishonorable State of Illinois, held the dram shop action against the bar that served the obvious drunk was limited to $10,000! Go figure . . . Folks, I vote a BIG YES on Oregon’s Measure 88 (driver card) ballot measure, The Safe Roads Act ! ! !
