Folks, really, if youre going to join in here by now you certainly must know to not take everything so literally. Five Star Hotel for quarantine people? No, Im not talking about putting them up at the Four Seasons! No more than when I say treat them like kings and queens to mean dress them in robes of velvet with a crown on their heads! Come on everyone, Im not a fool. So to be CLEAR, CRYSTAL CLEAR for those who dont get it... when I say TAKE CARE OF THOSE who return home from duty, either with this terrible Ebola epidemic or fighting on foreign lands, for us, for our safety, for our liberty, take 5 star care of them upon their return. Take a wing of a hospital, turn it into an isolation ward, but make it right and good and comfortable and extraordinary for those who are risking their lives for us. When a soldier comes home, give him or her 5 star treatment. And I want to be very clear here, yes, give these people something more than we would do for others who serve us, and there are many, not the least of which are our peace officers who go out everyday, put their lives at risk protecting us. So no, Im not talking about putting these good doctors and nurses up at the Plaza Hotel in New York, but I am suggesting making sure wherever they are in quarantine - and I DO BELIEVE THEY SHOULD BE IN QUARANTINE for the 21 day period at least until we are on the winning side of this epidemic - make sure we take care of them, and yes, even compensate them for their duty if needed. These are not just normal doctors and nurses going about their daily jobs - some often doing incredible work - I saw that first hand with my mother and the care she received - no Im talking about people who step our of their normal routine, often without pay, to do the most noble of things - give comfort to those in need, at the risk of their own lives. Are we clear now?
