Folks, trying to make a list of locations around Bangalore that have single pitch climbs, specifically top ropeable. If you know of an area that can provide scope for routes, please chip in. Criteria is as simple as this. a. Minimum of three routes in a location, on a single wall, or within few hundred meters of each other. b. Ability to top rope them (implying you dont have to lead a route to access the top anchors, or can setup anchors on the top). c. within 100 km of Bangalore, from MG road. d. minimum of 5.7-8ish climbs. Infact, preferably with at least one moderate climb (5.7 to 5.9). e. Atleast 25-30 feet long. More than highballs, certainly deathballs, but more like Locations that I know of: - Pond wall. Ramanagara (Bangalore West). Largely off limits, unless you get permissions, pay bribes or get lucky. - Senapathy Betta. Ramanagara. (Bangalore West) You have to lead up the routes, but I think it is possible to access the top anchors, if you walk around. - Gowdas farm. Ramanagara. (Bangalore West) None of the climbs are less than 5.10ish, but including for the sake of rest of the criteria - Rasta routes. Ramanagara (Bangalore West) - West Cliffs. Makalidurga. (Bangalore North) - Raogodlu. (Bangalore South). Not on the same wall, but the routes are close enough to fit the above criteria - Turahalli. On the south side, there are a few climbs on the slab behind the temple.
