Matty is the clown of the junior umpiring group, and is rapidly challenging the senior clowns... at his own peril! Although he is the guy in the room that will crack a joke, Matt certainly understands what he needs to do as an umpire and takes the match day role quite seriously. Throughout pre-season this year he was worked very hard, participating in the EFL Umpire Summer Academy, and will be a strong leader to our junior umpiring group as he is now able to use his experience to help those umpires coming through the ranks.
