Aust. • I need a range of Support Workers to assist me to retain as much of my independence as I can • Range of regular morning, evening shifts as well as ‘sleepovers’ (including weekends) available • Work includes (but is not limited to) general domestic duties and personal care • Ideally suited to people with flexible hours; a “second job”; an interest in theology/psychology/interpersonal dynamics/ even Jazz could be advantageous Whilst no formal qualifications are necessary, the following attributes would be beneficial: • Good work ethic; • Reasonable physical strength (assisted lifting may be required at times); • Availability to cover extra shifts (outside the regular roster) occasionally; • An interest in the advocacy (/’change agentry’) sector, in particular for people with disabilities (as the gentleman in question is heavily involved with many such community groups).
