Following up from my previous post about SuperSib...I have to brag about my SuperSib today! From 1st grade through 5th, she pretty much grew up on her own, since we were so focused on Ishani and her cancer fight. I always worried about how it would affect her. Today I watched her go from Basketball practice that finished at 5 pm, to EVHS for her Orchestra concert where she played in the Tippit Chamber Orchestra and in the Tippit quartet, followed by rushing over to GHS (changing in to her dress on the way in the car!) for the Tippit Choir concert! She was all smiles !! I dont tear up very often with Monisha, but today I did. I am so proud of her and so very thankful. Thanks to the staff at Tippit who have given her so many opportunities and to all her elementary teachers at Carver and Pickett who supported her along the way.
