Food for Thought………. Do you really know what we (as saints) get when we dwell in the secret place (presence) of the most high God?????? (King James Version Bible) Psalms 91:1-3, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.” Ref: 1.)Psalms 31:20, “Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: (So pride means conceited, self-respect, or haughtiness (proud)). thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion (Pavilion means light roofed structure for shelter or housing) from the strife of tongues.” (Strife means heated, often violent dissension, bitter conflict (difference of opinion, battle, or war) struggle, fight, or competition between rivals) 2.)Psalms 27:5, “ For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: ( So, in the time of trouble we are hidden in his pavilion(a light roofed structure for shelter) in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” ( Now the tabernacle (the portable sanctuary in which Isreal carried the Ark of the Covenent through the desert, when God delivered them out of Egypt-Exodus chapters 24-31) represents heaven, Hebrews 9:11, so we see that this is all speaking of the presence of the Lord or his secret place.) 3.) Psalms 91:1, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Ref: Psalms 91:2, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” (Refuge means protection, shelter, a source of help, relief, or comfort) (Fortress means- A fortified (to make strong, to reinforce, by adding materials to give emotional, moral, or mental strength to) place.) 4.) Psalms 18:2, “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” (We see here that God is your rock, strength, deliverer…. BUCKLER- Psalms 91:4, “He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth(his Word) shall be thy shield and buckler.”) Note: Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (God’s word (which is God, ST. John 1:1,”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”) will not return unto him void. God is your buckler because he is truth. According to his word, his truth shall be thy shield (protection) and buckler(PSALMS 91:4). Why??? Because his word cannot return unto him void. So because his word has to obey God, WHEN YOU SPEAK HIS WORD, it shall come to pass. 5.) Psalms 91:3, “Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.” (God delivers you from the snare (trapping device, something that serves to entangle the unwary) of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence ( this is talking about principelities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness-Ephesians 6:11-13) So again, these scriptures represents what we (saints) have when we dwell in the secret place of the most High God. Remember, when speaking God’s word, you must first believe that he is able to do just what he said he will do. So find a scripture in the bible that relates to what you are going through and speak that scripture over your circumstances 24/7, all while believing that what you speak shall has already come to pass (that is called walking by faith). How you dwell in the secret place of the most High God is by being willing and obedient to his word. This is constantly making sure that your life style is according to the word of the Lord. Whatever does not line up with the Word of God, is not of God. So it is very very important not to let the cares and riches of this world choke the seed (God’s Word) that is in you. Please keep in mind that worry is not of God, and panic is groundless fear….. We must continue to sow our much needed seed which is God’s Word in our heart. Remember, how much you sow is how much you shall reap……..so, if you sow little Word in your heart and life, then you will reap little. No Word, no faith Little Word, little faith Much Word, much faith So, sow the much needed seed in your heart and water that seed with your faith daily. Walk by faith, find your scripture and post it on your mirror, speak your scripture daily 24/7, keep your eyes on our Lord Jesus Christ, don’t look to the left or the right, just stay meditating and running references in God’s Word day and night. If you draw closer to God, he will draw closer to you, and remember for his Word which is God, cannot lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JESUS is Lord!!!! Jesus loves you more than you know………… The Living Word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
