Food stamp fraud is up 30% since Obama was re-elected. This is part of a broader pattern. Welfare fraud is also up, in large part because Obama has "waived" or ignored eligibility requirements under the 1996 welfare reform laws. He has done the same thing with requests for political asylum, all part of an effort to keep as many illegal aliens here as possible. And he plans to put people who want Obamacare subsidies under an "honor system" during the first critical year that he attempts to implement it as a new entitlements program. Obama and the left do not care about any of this. Their goal is to hook as many new people on government dependence as fast as they can, whether they qualify or not. This is how they think they will expand their political power in future years. This is why we need to oppose these policies at every step. These are the little battles we must fight as part of the long-term war between freedom and collectivism.
