Footys4all 745km road trip home from the 2014 South Australian - TopicsExpress

Footys4all 745km road trip home from the 2014 South Australian Aboriginal and netball carnival to Melbourne where Footys4alls Tommy Gallus flies high at Little Desert in the middle of nowhere literally after spending 18 hrs in the car out of the 34 hrs of the trip to Adelaide SA to distribute AFL Footys4all Ross Faulkner footballs and netballs to the children of the carnival. Inspirational Australians are found everywhere here are some more immortalised in a rusty plaque on a rock at Little Desert half way between Melbourne and Adelaide where we learnt how CSIRO scientist David Riceman worked with landowner Jack Summers to turn this desert area into a rich flourishing farming area. Transforming desert to rich farmland in sure everyone said these two great Australians were mad and crazy and that they didnt know what they were doing. But as we drive through kilometre after kilometre of flourishing farmland we know that these two never gave up and that they never listened to the thousands of negative dream squashers. Inspiration can be found when you least expect it in the most obscure of places. We will use these two innovative Australians as further inspiration as we continue our mission to distribute hope and a sporting opportunity to children in need across Australia and around the world.
