For 200 years (1760-1960), Britain enslaved and colonized - TopicsExpress

For 200 years (1760-1960), Britain enslaved and colonized Yorubaland. Apart from the railway system, built only to siphon off Yoruba wealth and resources from the hinterland to the seaports in Lagos, for shipment to Liverpool, for the development of England, the British colonial thugs build nothing else. During a brief period of our modern history of self-rule (1954-1959) before a full fledged independence in 1960, under the exceptional leadership of our topmost statesman - Chief Obafemi Awolowo, who served the Yoruba people with the very best government in the whole of Africa. Under their leadership, the Yoruba Western Region of Nigeria became the pace-setter in virtually all aspects of modern development. As examples, Yorubaland developed programmes that empowered Yoruba people to become some of the most productive in Africa. The Region became First in Africa. Some of the testimonies to this assertion are: 1. A revered judicial system. 2. The development of the first industrial estate in Africa. 3. Provision of free and efficient health care delivery system. 4. Establishment of the first radio and television stations in Africa. 5. Provision of free education at all levels with effective scholarship scheme. 6. The construction of the first international stadium in Africa. The fact of history is that America and Britain, using the Fulani, who are foreigners in far North of Nigeria, had always attempted to hold down the development in and of the Yoruba people. As examples, three years after the Yoruba led the Igbo and Hausa-Fulani to expel the British colonial thugs from Nigeria, the government of Tafawa Balewa and Azikiwe in 1963, was used by the same Britain to imprisoned the leader of the Yoruba people Chief Obafemi Awolowo for 10 years in a phantom coup. The Fulani Norths view themselves as born-to-rule and the Federal Government of Nigeria as an agency of the US and its allies. 1. They refused to recognized or acknowledged MKO Abiola mandate. 2. They detained and killed him after four years in detention. 3. They murdered his wife Kudi Abiola. 4. They murdered Suliat Adedeji. 5. They murdered Pa Rewane. 6. They killed Ken Saro-Wiwa. 7. They killed Dele Giwa and many more. Now that they have lost political power officially in 2010 after the demise of YarAdua, they have been using Boko Haram, a political weapon being sponsored by America, Britain and the Fulani to first, force Jonathan out of power and thereafter face the Yoruba people. America and Britain do not want Nigeria to break up. They do not want Yoruba to have regional autonomy or secede from Nigeria. They see themselves as superior to the Yoruba people. Jonathan is a stupid man. He is unwilling to break up Nigeria or ensure regional government. He has been threatened by America. He is afraid of death. America is currently working on Obasanjo (CIA), Tinubu, Ooni and Alaafin. We must be ready to treat these people the way the Oyo Mesi treated Alaafin Aaole if and when they dare gbabode for the Yoruba people. For the Yoruba people, it is Regional Autonomy or #OoduaRepublic America and Britain are not superior to the Yoruba.
