For 29 yrs. (Aug. 18th) Tom has not only worked a full time job, but he has provided food through a nice sized garden, raised steers, and sometimes pigs, kept a "fleet" of vehicles in running order, fixed printers, washing machines, bikes, cleaned our furnace, etc., occasionally has helped with homeschool science, has changed many diapers, given baths, coached sports, mowed grass (until we had teens), read stories, played games, shoveled snow, did all the planning and driving for trips, made homemade ice cream, grilled, gotten the kids "out of my hair" evenings and weekends, provided discipline, and much more. No one could ever fault him for not being hardworking.
