I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 2015…..Crazy that it’s here, huh? In the next few days, the parking lot at 24 Hour Fitness will be full. But, give it three weeks, and the parking lot will return to its normal few SUV’s, vans and sedans. Human nature. We are great at beginning but fail miserably at going the distance. Maybe. Maybe we can be & do differently this year? As I look at my personal January history it’s a bag if mixed results. I have experienced success & failure. As I look back, I have seen a common denominator with both results. When I have experienced failure, it was at those times that I leaned into my own abilities, strengths, and ambitions. But, when I have had success, I surrendered my abilities, strengths, and ambitions to Jesus. And when I did that, HE began to do that new thing in my life that needed to happen! He began making a pathway into the wilderness of my life & created rivers that poured through my wastelands. So, what are you waiting for? Surrender & get going in 2015! Community Group now forming! I am facilitating a community group beginning Wednesday, January 14 @ the Octagon. We will weekly gather to encourage, equip, and empower to live Christ centered lives in a self-created culture. We will pray, openly share our lives to one another, and live incarnational. We will also monthly participate in a serve project & of course, enjoy food with one another! Happens weekly @ 7:00pm!
