The Gospel is a divine energy. It is able to wage victorious battle against all evil tendencies. Paul lifts the gospel out of the realm of theory into the realm of living things. He goes ahead & puts it clear that it is not just any power but was careful to specify it is the power of God. This is the greatest power ever existed. It is the only power in the world big enough to break sin. Big enough to break any addiction, Big enough to deliver man from any diseases, Big enough to let go all who under captive.
