For Immediate Release As Muslims throughout the world begin 30 days of fasting in the month of Ramadhan, State President Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika extends his personal best wishes and that of the government to all Muslims in the country and prays that their prayers be accepted by God. The President appreciates and highly values the cordial relationship that exists between the Muslim community and the government as well as other religious and faith groups as demonstrated by the complimentary role that the faith community plays to assist government in reducing poverty through the provision of education and health services, among other important services. May the Holy month of Ramadhan bring peace, unity, and prosperity to our people and brighten the future of our country forever.
