For Ken . . . what a wonderful tribute tonight for my friend, my music mentor, my brother, Kenneth R. Brenneman. With less than 24 hour notice and thanks to Kathleen Watson Chrysler, over 80 former students and friends of Ken gathered at Ken and Robin Rosenfeld Brennemans home at 7 to sing for the man who had such an impact on their lives through his dedication as their music teacher, director, and friend. Ken was so happy to see everyone and had the biggest smile afterwards. He has touched many lives and fostered the love of choral music for the Hillaird Community. Many thanks to my daughter, Kristin Pearsol Hodgson, current Heritage MS choir director and former assistant choir director at Hilliard Davidson HS, for directing the group on EASTER ANTHEM and THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU. If you couldnt make it tonight, we will be doing an encore on Saturday, July 26th, at 2:00 PM at their home at 4105 Saturn Road, Hilliard, OH 43026. I will be going again and looking forward to seeing many of you who came tonight as well as those of you who couldnt.
