For Rick. I doubt you will ever see this, but I will say what is in my heart anyway. You walked into our lives and loved us. You didnt say the words, you proved it by your actions. You never abandoned us. To this very day, I am grateful for all the years with you. I know what a sacrifice it was for you to let us go, and yet, that never stopped you from always being there. It wasnt in the cards for us to stay together as a couple or a family, but you will always be the man I respect for loving my son and being there. I will always love you and wish with all my heart you were part of the family circle today, even if from a distance. I am sorry for any pain I caused you. The Boyz from Illinoiz and all the memories you made will forever bring a smile to my heart. Thank you, my friend. I wish with all my heart you could meet CJs children. I know how much love you would show them. May you be blessed You are such a good man. I do miss you and being able to share memories of CJ as a Dad! That little boy you spoiled so completely would make you so very proud. Everything happens for a reason, but this one I do struggle with from time to time, and it breaks my heart. I know what it is like to be loved by a man because of you. Thank you.
