Since graduating from San Francisco State University in June 2013, Natalie has worked as a teacher’s aide at Boulder Creek School and a Group Leader for After-School Programs at the Shasta Family YMCA in Redding. Natalie will be best remembered for her love of the ocean, surfing and snow boarding which gave her an “endless summer” year round outlook on life. She loved music, dancing and hanging out with her friends. We’ll remember her beautiful smile, sense of humor and her kindness. She transferred her love of reading and writing to the young children she taught in Redding with patience and a smile. A Celebration of Natalie’s life will be held at Alameda Elks Lodge, 2255 Santa Clara Ave., Alameda, on Sunday, June 22 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please follow Natalie’s example by becoming a registered organ donor and/or by making a donation to the California Transplant Donor Network at ctdn.org/contributions.html (Mail checks to CTDN, 1000 Broadway, Suite 600, 94607 and note on the check that the donation is in Natalie’s name).
